78 steps on a narrow staircase to the 3d floor room ( lift hasn't worked for 6 months, and Expedia did not have that info when I booked, even though the owner said he had mentioned it. Shower room was clean, looked as though it had recently been refurbished. Beds were clean and comfortable with clean linen. Tea and coffee facility available. No air conditioning, a fan was available, but very noisy...windows could be opened, but could see into room next door. General cleanliness was poor, carpets extremely stained and dirty, missing areas of laminate flooring in hallway. The only redeeming factor was the location. Would not stay again.

4th floor ... no lift.. Is not fun.... hot room... and charges to keep your luggage.... Again no lift... one of the hottest days in London....

Room clean, just needs a bit of a face-lift and air-conditioning and I would have gave a higher mark. Brilliant location at Paddington Station. Perfect for all routes.

Tried for 2 months to contact the property. Tried via emails through messages and a phone call but none were answered. Very poor communication.

Nice staff, run down place, needed some upgrades, ok for the price, you get what you pay for.

Lift is out, and looking at reviews it's been out for a long time. Would have been nice to have that in the room description. Shower was awful, zero water pressure when the water dribbled out. Bath was also not tilted to the water went down the drain, so the dirty water pooled up. Windows broken and cannot close, spent all night banging against the scaffolding sorounding the building.

Bit dated and old need refurbishment. Lifted was broken need fixing. Can do with USB plug in room . Its ok for one night like me I use it get to the train to Heathrow airport

The rooms had bed bugs, shower pressure was awlful, room unfinished. Would not stay here ever again, even if you paid me

The hotel looked nothing like the pictures that were used for when we booked it. We were on the 4th floor and the lift was out of order and seems like it has been for a very long time. As soon as we arrived we could see this was not the same as the pictures we looked at. It was very run down, I don't think they spend a single penny on the property. We had to request to change rooms as soon as we arrived as the room we were in could be opened without the key card. So we then ended up on the 5th floor, the room was so hot we had to stay out as late as we possibly could and out as soon as we woke up again, even though the room was supposed to be where we went to chill after a long day. There was a very small fan on the wall which was very loud and old. One of the windows wouldn't open so we had 1 very small window. The TV didn't work (we didn't care about this but still) there were woodlice in the bathroom, bathroom didn't look particularly clean. Once the sink was used it took the water over an hour to go down. Honestly there were just a lot of issues and I would not recommend booking here, we actually stayed up late looking for another last minute hotel on our first night.
