I've never been charged to use an hotel pool in decades of travel but my wife and I had to cough up E10 each to use the pool. Given the very high room charges this seemed excessive. I won't stay here again.

Surprisingly good location, quiet with good access to public transport and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel’s own restaurant is pretentiously overpriced for the service and menu options but has a nice porch. The coffee maker in room was not intuitive and came with no instructions, requiring a visit from hotel staff to demonstrate. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom but for the soap and shampoo, which smelled like smoker’s breath. My wife and I were both repulsed by it.

Club lounge good. Good breakfast and service there. Room good. Location as promised. Good. Service at front desk and spa a little underwhelming. Only one functioning elevator meant longer waits sometimes. €60 euro Spa fee for pool use by my guests, a source of irritation. Didn’t like this nor the way it was handled by the staff. I’d call it an okay 4 star experience. Definitely not 5 star. Value was okay. Probably wouldn’t rush back here, being honest.
