The hotel was clean, the bed very comfortable, the staff super friendly. Just know that if your room overlooks the street, it's very loud outside at night!

This hotel is in a great location to walk to all the Freedom Trail sights and near the subway for a short train ride to Fenway Park. The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean and well kept. I’m not sure what the “Resort Fee” is for as there is no pool and few resort amenities. Just a real nice boutique hotel in a great Boston location. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Godfrey was exactly what we hoped for. We arrived to stow our luggage and got checked in early. Complimentary snacks and wine (for Expedia VIPs). Beautiful hotel and clean, comfortable rooms a block from Boston Commons. Easy to explore the city and get to Logan.

Great central location to the Freedom Trail and easy walk to the North End. Very loud. It was ok for us because we had earplugs, but not only are the streets below very loud and the windows not soundproof, our A/C was very loud, too. But luckily it worked well. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Decor is a little tired but fine.
