APA Hotel Shin Osaka Ekimae Tower

Great place to stay. This was our 2nd Apa hotel on our trip. Clean, friendly staff, short walk to Shin Osaka train station. Air conditioning was cold and operated well. I loved the larger bath tub. Breakfast was delicious, nutritious and a great price. Check-in and check out was very easy.

The room was too small for two people. The APA in Shibuya is better.

The location isn’t too far from Shin-Osaka station but there are quite a few APA-Hotels nearby so make sure you go to the one you have booked. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the room was teeny tiny as was the bathroom. Which apparently is normal for Japan. There was very little space for luggage and the first night we had music playing continuously which was extremely frustrating to hear especially when trying to go to sleep, discovered the phone on the desk dislodged and the music was coming from that. But you need the desk to store luggage. Then when you need the bathroom there’s quite a big step up into the bathroom. But I do like the amenities they provide. There is a lovely roof top bar with great views of the city and murals painted on the walls which are lovely also.

The hotel is near the station which makes it very convenient. The room is a bit small but it was enough for two people. The bathroom was clean as well as the bedroom. The washer and dryer machines are for small loads, and they don't clean as well as a public one, but they get the job done. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious (it was a buffet so it had a lot of options).

The room was overpriced and so tiny that the two of us could only be in the room at the same time if we were sleeping. Also sounded like the trains were right outside our window even though we were on the 12th floor.

Train station nearby

There were some convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Very convenient. Excellent staff. Clean. The only problem was the size of the room. Very small for 2 people with 3 suitcases but expected.
