Warm welcome from Steve and Caz. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful place attention to detail was fabulous! Lovely breakfast with lots of choice for any taste.
Steve was very attentive and ensured we had everything needed and more. Parking space provided was an added bonus. Would highly recommend if you want perfection!! Thank you Steve and Caz

We stayed two nights for our friends wedding and Steve was a brilliant host, the place was perfectly located for us and had everything we needed, and we took advantage of his restaurant recommendations too which were both extremely good!!!(Zeffirellis and Ishaahs). The breakfasts each morning were fantastic and great quality!!! Our stay was excellent, Steve’s a top man….

Clean and comfortable room, great location, breakfast fab, you tailor it to your liking the night before. Hosts wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

The car park is some way away from the house. The bedroom we had was small and the shower room was quite remarkable in that it was such a small space but was perfectly adequate.

Fantastiskt Hillsdale was a joy and delight, in an excellent location with great off Road parking. The BnB was spotlessly clean, rooms were homely and cosy all topped off with a great breakfast! Steve and Caz were the best hosts and couldn’t do enough for you. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderfully relaxed and welcoming stay at Hillside Ambleside.
Steve was incredibly friendly and had a fantastic sense of humour even after the mighty Liverpool beat his beloved West Ham 5–2.
Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and a perfect start to the day.
We’ll definitely be staying again next time we’re in Ambleside.
