Excellent location to west entrance of JTNP. We stayed 2 nights. Bed was comfortable. Coffee was provided but very weak. Housekeeping offered, but we did not use it. We were in the room only at night. There is no microwave and there are tokens to use the ice machine based on how many nights you are staying. Which will fill up the little container in your room. There is a small pool but we didn’t have time to use. This Motel served our purpose & was clean.

Hotel is clearly older, but is very clean and pretty well maintained. Great location, reasonable price, convenient for Joshua Tree.

I came into town for one night and accidentally left my GoPro in the room. I was already in California by the time I called and they had found the camera and shipped it to me immediately after my postage paid pre-addressed envelope arrived. I was very thankful. Additionally, the property could not have been more clean. It’s not a luxury hotel by any means but if cleanliness is your priority, everything else was fine. No bells and whistles but HONEST, clean, and safe! Thank you 🙏!

I was under the impression it was $80 and when I reveiwed by checking account the charge was $90. The grounds were clean, the bed was super comfortable. I did not use the a/c as it was chilly when I got there and the window was open. The bathroom light in 109 would not turn on...it flickered and went off.

Although a modest motel, the High Desert is clean. It is conveniently located in joshua tree town and close to west entrance of the park. Didn't use the pool as it was too early in the season.

Bra You get what you pay for. Was in town for an overnight and wanted something cheap. This fit the bill. This place has been around the block, but I knew that choosing it.

It's a little older property but the room was clean and comfortable had cable TV and a coffee maker and a refrigerator and microwave. Parking was good and the gentleman who ran the place let me borrow a lawn chair to take out to the park to look at stars. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place close to the park
