great hotel and all the staff were amazing Bit hilly but buggies very useful room and swim up pool lovely preference club lounge great and lots of choices of drinks and snacks tried to majority of specialist restaurants and enjoyed them all main bar a problem with long wait times to get served but enjoyed trying all the options which were well made by experienced staff on checkout appears someone used the shuttle bus into capital and charged to our room, were not forced to pay but a not a nice experience to prove we never used the bus as we had a car

teh property is big, rooms need some attention. staff was kind but slow check in and check out. also have to pay $10 for parking.

We were well received with staff helping with our bags immediately. Note, if you do want your luggage right away, don't use their luggage service as it is not immediate. Room was large and comfortable. We had an oceanview room with balcony. For the smokers, balcony has ashtrays! Bathroom was large with separate toilet door. Small note, that one of the 2 sinks was a bit backed up. That is truly the only small thing. Staff were polite throughout the resort. Not understanding the concept, it is a resort where you can purchase different packages for food and beverage. As you research take note that Funschal is approx 40 mins away so if you aren't making the commute, look into a more robust dining package. Our favourite spot was the natural saltwater pool. It's like an infinity pool up against the ocean. It fills/filters when the tide is high. Crabs run along the pool edge. On the other side of the pool you can swim in the ocean. At low tide the water is neck deep (approx) and can be accessed via the beach. The food is amazing at the natural pool location. The seafood rice was our favourite. Clayton, the host was very nice. Outside the fact it's a bit far, it's a lovely resort with enough entertainment as well as solitude for days.

We were celebrating my parents 49th wedding anniversary and they ensured we celebrated well. It was difficult booking the à la carte restaurants but once that was arranged we had a wonderful time. Our villa was beautiful and well appointed. The staff really can’t do enough for you; thank you for a wonderful stay. Hughes family

My wife and I stayed at Dreams Madeira for 5 nights and had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was incredibly spacious, modern and very comfortable. The room had plenty of space to relax and unwind, and it really made our stay feel even more luxurious and enjoyable. One of the highlights for us was the incredible infinity pool overlooking the sea. The views were absolutely stunning and created such a peaceful atmosphere. Sitting by the pool and looking out over the ocean felt like something from a postcard and quickly became one of our favourite places in the resort. We also enjoyed the spa, which was a perfect place to switch off and relax. The whole experience felt calming and added another level of luxury to our trip. Everything was clean, well maintained and designed to help you completely unwind. The cocktails were fantastic as well — plenty of choice and made perfectly every time. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying the evening atmosphere, having great drinks with beautiful surroundings made the experience even better. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The food was excellent, with a good variety of options, and the whole hotel had such a relaxing atmosphere. This trip gave us amazing memories and quality time together. We would highly recommend Dreams Madeira to couples and families looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

We arrived at night so we could not see the beauty of this resort. After a very long and difficult trip to arrive at the resort, our first impression was how wonderful and helpful the staff was. We were upgraded to the most beautiful villa. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel arranged for a private room at the most popular restaurant. They made our anniversary dinner very special. The attention was unmatched and truly appreciated. The resort is truly amazing for those who enjoy excellent food, quiet moments, hiking, ocean activities. The city of Funchal is a 30min ride but worth it. Lots to do and see. We will definitely return but plan on spending a longer period of time to get to enjoy everything the resort and Madeira have to offer.

All inclusive. What else can be said?! Great location. Outside of the city but that’s exactly what we wanted. A couple great hikes in the surrounding areas. Just a very pleasant and perfect situation!

Entertainment was a lovely close to an evening

Beautiful resort. Great food. Lots of options on things to do. Cleaning Staff forgot to stock our fridge with drinks and water at times. Had trouble the last few days getting reservations at restaurants due to there only being 2 open each night. Would recommend having someone available to cart people to their suites day and night as quite a hike uphill to a lot of suites. The restaurant Voce was wonderful for lunch. Stunning views and easy access to a wide variety of activities. The bar had live music and silent discos, which was all fun. We’d come back again for sure.

Very good
