Our stay was amazing! Staff was very helpful, the check in was easy and communication throughout our stay was very easy as well. We also had the place to ourselves the whole time! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing place to stay :)

My husband and I stayed at Chongos place for 3 nights, it actually looks better in person than the pictures. They have made some updates and it’s completely fenced with parking available if you have a car. You can see the Arenal Volcano from the property but it was hard to see it completely since the clouds are always around it, we were able to see it a little better on our last day. There are 3 cabins that they rent and the owners have their house also in the same lot. Diana is very responsive on WhatsApp, I needed new towels on my 2nd night and she brought them right away. There are a lot of places to eat nearby and also the town is a short drive away, which I would recommend driving since the weather is unpredictable there and it can rain at any moment. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Chongos place and would recommend it. Thank you, Diana! 😀

Very pleasant quiet stay with a great view of the volcano. Comfortable bed. I sat on the porch and watched the birds flying about including a hummingbird and four macaws.

This is a gem of a place.
Minimalistic with all the necessary stuff, neat and has a good view of the Arenal Volcano.
Diana, the host was super helpful and attended to our needs. Loved staying here. It's also close to all the main attractions.
Would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay. Diana was very kind and helpful. The property is well tended to. The surrounding views are beautiful. It is quiet out there, except for all the birds and crickets at night. My room was clean and bed comfortable. A cute kitty freely wandered the property, often napping outside my door.

OMG! We just loved Chongos Place! The cabins are so cute and beautiful, clean with all necessities. The porch with the hammock was just our favorite place. The plants right outside the porch invite these beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies that we got to observe up close! And the pool was amazing, we spend hours in it each day. Great if you have kids (my daughter never wanted to leave the pool!)
And to top it all... the view of the Arenal is breathtaking.
Check in/ check outs were smooth and we even did an early luggage drop which was so helpful.
The family is so friendly and inviting, they gave us so many helpful insider local tips for activities and meals. They live right next door but respect your privacy while being available if needed. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!

Perfect clean fresh cabins! Great nestled in the nature rich hills of fortuna! We we welcomed after a long day of adventure in the area and had a great nights rest!!!

Amazing location with beautiful view of Mt Arenal. Staff were amazing - accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Clean and comfy cabins with super comfortable bed!! Little out of main area, but perfect if you have a car.
