Cambria Hotel Savannah Downtown Historic District

It was a very nice hotel in a very nice area. I enjoyed walking around looking at the historic sites. The hotel staff was awesome.

Donna was great! Super busy but still nice and helpful! Valet people were good too! Thanks

Clean rooms. Short walking distance to the riverfront.

Quiet place to stay close to trolley station and parking garage, but they do have valet parking. Room was nice with great view.

Fantastic stay! Friendly staff, from valet to check in to breakfast....very welcoming! The rooms are so clean and the bed super comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

The property was clean abd sufficient for pur few days stay. Right in Historic district area. Close to see or walk to sights. We enjoyed our stay in Savannah!

The parking lot was convenient and inexpensive for downtown parking options.

The hotel was fine until…we were given an occupied room upon check in! We went up and the room was clearly still being used. When we told the desk attendant, she looked confused and asked if we were sure…(seriously?). There were used towels in the floor and someone had just taken a shower because the room was humid. She assigned another room and then escorted us to the new room to make sure it was vacant. (As two adults who were set to get some R&R, our focus was NOT on playing games with the hotel staff!) Prior to going upstairs, I asked about the valet parking and if there were any other options available. The valet attendant confidently said Cambria’s fee was $39 per day but there was a public parking lot close by but you would be subjected to an hourly fee. Upon further investigation and $78 later, the public parking deck adjacent is $9 per night and the EXACT location where Cambria valets guest cars! After all of those shenanigans, Sumaya provided excellent customer service by adjusting the bill without hesitation or unnecessary hassle. Overall, Cambria was okay. I’m not sure if I would stay at this location again, if so, I definitely wouldn’t use the valet service!

Hotel was clean- rooms are a good size - hotel was not overly crowded. Id say the one downfall was no information provided at check in like where things were or breakfast times. We arrived to breakfast next morning and had already stopped at 930a ?? We were visiting first time and had no clue where things were close by

If I’m in Savannah again I’ll definitely stay here. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The full bar had great food and drinks. The room and hotel were clean and smelled good. We were in walking distance to City Market and a short drive from the river walk.
