Lovely Apartment Close to Acton Central Station

The place is generally clean and the staff friendly. The presence of a washing machine and an additional fan upon request are two pluses. My room albeit on the ground floor has its small single window facing a wall only. The bathroom facilities tend to be a little too basic.

The area has everything you could need including a beautiful green space & park. However, the property is not luxury. When we arrived there was building work still happening, the apartment was not the one advertised, there was no oven as stated, the bathroom was so small I couldn't even turn around in it and there was a foul smell, like a blocked drain smell, in the bathroom. The bed was awful, the most uncomfortable bed I've slept on. The apartment was narrow, no decent views from the window as we were down on the bottom floor. Good points: fairly clean, an attempt has been made to make guests feel comfortable: coffee, shampoo, towels provided, decent size TV, iron, microwave. If it was advertised as a standard, basic room then there wouldn't be an issue for me. But describing it as a fabulous luxury apartment is misleading. Overall we did enjoy our stay. I wish we got the room pictured and advertised & I wish some had informed us that there would ongoing building work, when we returned on the Saturday there had been carpet laid and all the all cuts were chucked by our flat door. I can see what the owner is trying to do, but right now the flat isn't quite there. It will absolutely met your basic needs but don't expect luxury.

Overall, the location is either at the end or the beginning of high st, depending on which direction you are coming from. No breakfast provided. Bathroom & toilet wise is a bit small and small in space. You have to sort of crossover the toilet seat to get to the shower cubicle. Bed wise, quite comfortable but I think they need to replace or add another pillow for comfortable sleep. Very clean when i checked in. You can clean the place yourself too since all cleaning products are provided. Halal food nearby, just a few steps away from the place. Bus stop in front of the property. The only thing is that you just have to carry your case up thru a narrow staircase to get to your room. If you have booked the place, consider taking less luggage as there’s no elevators. Overall quite a pleasant stay and convenient for me to move around London.
