The property hygiene is poor and not being maintained by staff especially with shared bathrooms. Toilets were left unclean for days and lack of toilet facilities. Beds and pillows sheets were left the whole six days unchanged

The main issue was, no air conditioner!

The location was excellent. Our room was very hot due to heatwave however we were provided with 2 fans. Unfortunately the electric blew on 2 nights which by process of elimination we discovered the kettle was faulty. The staff on the first night were very apologetic and helpful. The room was very clean. Breakfast was okay, a little basic, probably could have had some more healthy options such as granola and porridge.

Unfortunately we stayed during the heatwave but we were in a basement room with a nice sash window. Unfortunately we didn’t find the large fan to the morning. Room clean and well presented, en-suite good. Excellent breakfast would stay again.

Spacious bedroom, clean bathroom and located in the centre of London with great travel links. The room was incredibly hot due to heat wave but no air conditioning. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. We would stay here again due to location.

Great place. If the mattresses were more comfortable it would have been 5 stars all around. Central location. Friendly and attentive staff. Good daily breakfast. We would stay here again.

The room was marketed as being non-refundable along with the fact that there was no AC. However, the room was on the top floor, directly under the roof, with no attic above. The temperature of the room was so hot that it was physically unsafe to remain in the room without getting overwhelmed by heat. My two sons and I tried to do so for three hours before giving up and paying for another hotel. We had booked the room for two nights, but did not stay even one night. After requesting a refund through the hotel and through Orbitz, and being denied by both, I am writing this review. In my opinion, it should not be legal for a "hotel" to accept payment for a room that is over 35 degrees C because it was "non-refundable." The reason that the word hotel is in quotation marks is because this is not really a professional hotel. It's a group of people accepting payments for rooms that are part of an old dirty building marketed as a "hotel." I would not recommend anyone stay here. Additionally, I am going to stop using Orbitz as well because as the "seller" of the product, Orbitz will not stand behind what they sell and issue a refund either. Instead of refunding me $420, they offered a $60 credit to use on future purchases. Again, not recommended to stay at Arran house or use Orbitz......I envision that you will be sorry.

The best location in London, good staff, good breakfast, and they help you with holding your luggage’s, before check in and after check out, that is a plus.

Good choice for continental breakfast and staff very friendly.

Shared bathroom, so it can't get more than 3 stars. No Aircon, and the window barely opened. It was super hot. The location is great, the area felt safe, but I can't give it more than 2 stars. My room key deactivated twice. The first time might have been my fault since it was next to my phone. The second time, I just went to use the bathroom and couldn't get back into my room. It was 9:40, and I hadn't checked out.
