Had a really fun day! We visited four places and everything felt well paced, not rushed at all. It was cold, but there were fewer crowds and the weather was great for photos. Our guide, Hakim, was friendly and professional, and kept us updated the whole time, even through chat. Definitely a memorable tour and one I’d recommend.

Jag var väldigt förväntansfull inför denna DMZ-tur, då den har stått på min "bucket list" sedan gymnasiet. Att lära sig hur ideologi kan splittra en nation – och till och med syskon – är djupt smärtsamt men otroligt ögonöppnande. Miljontals liv har påverkats av denna delning. Mitt i den pågående spänningen mellan Nordkorea och Sydkorea kunde vi se olika former av propaganda, såsom byn, tävlingen om att bygga den högsta flaggstången och utsikter mot Kaesongs särskilda ekonomiska zon. Det var också intressant att få veta att människor nu bor runt DMZ och odlar ekologiska produkter i området. Vår guide, Kelly, var mycket hjälpsam och kunnig. Hon förklarade det historiska och politiska sammanhanget tydligt, vilket gjorde varje plats vi besökte mycket mer meningsfull. Jag hade med mig min 7-åriga dotter, och hon var genuint intresserad under hela resan. En viktig anmärkning: denna tur innebär mer än 15 000 steg, så se till att komma väl förberedd och bära bekväma skor. Rekommenderas varmt!

June emailed me the day before the tour to confirm the date/timing, the walking tour started around gangnam station to sinsa and troll through garousil street then to han river nearby apujeong station. If you like to find out more about the local social issues about gangnam from the miracle development to education to housing to lookism (plastic surgery) from a local korean guide’s perspective, this is the tour to sign up for. The tour ends with June’s optional lunch recommendation at a local restaurant in apujeong area with additional cost.

Erica was a fantastic guide! I really enjoyed the trip, and I think if it had been anyone else, the trip wouldn't have been as good as it could have been. Thank you so much. Erica gives very interesting accounts of the places we visit, and I thank her for that.

our tour guide Brandon was hands on the sweetest and best tour guide! He always patiently explain everything to us multiple times and make sure everyone understands. he also took pictures for everyone on the tour multiple times!!! the tour was soooo worth it, it’s cheaper than the alternative tour I was going to book and they included a surprise stop- alpaca world which end up being my favorite.
