Guidad tur till Cup Noodles Museum i Yokohama

We visited the Cup Noodles Museum and it was so fun. The museum was bright, modern, and engaging. A big thank you to our guide Mr Mikio-San who provided insightful explanations abt Mr Momofuku Ando—the inventor of instant ramen. My favorite was the massive history room showcasing thousands of vintage and global noodle packages spanning decades. The absolute highlight is of coz the My CUPNOODLES Factory. You get to doodle and design your own custom cup, choose your preferred soup base, and pick out your favorite toppings. Watching it get sealed and packaged into an inflatable air pouch to carry home is the best souvenir ever! There is also food options at Noodles Bazaar on the fourth floor, which feels like an Asian night market and lets you sample small, affordable portions of unique noodle dishes from around the world. Tip: It can get quite busy and hectic, especially on weekends. So be sure to book your admission and workshop tickets online in advance so you don't miss out!

Dai-ichi was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and passionate. He also provided a nice amount of excitement when he was explaining the history that wasn't written. The museum was a good experience for seeing the process involved in the making of instant noodles.
