The pools felt crowded and dirty by the afternoon. I also wish they would provide at least one room cleaning for the price. It felt very dirty and sandy by the end of the week. Otherwise the room was beautiful, the view was beautiful, the beach was perfect and some of the best snorkeling.

Our room was great! beauriful view if the ocean! We sat on the balcony everyday. The pools were great, beach was beautiful. You can snorkel right in front of the property. Be sure to bring water shoes because the beach it is very rocky in front of Honua Kai Resort. If you walk to the south it is less rocky. There is a nice path that we took our morning walks. Two connivence stores are in site to get coffee and snacks. Duke’s Restaurant is the only restaurant, there is also food truck park in walking distance It is definitely a resort for families, but as an older couple with grandchildren we did not mind. If you are looking for a more adult quiet experience I would look elsewhere: we loved our stay and look forwar to returning to Honuai Kai!
