Was not as described and not quaint. It was more of a hostel. Questionable security which was the main reason we left and cancelled our booking upon arrival. The lodging was unwilling to refund (poor customer service) but Expedia provided a credit to us for the major hassle which we very much appreciated. For the record: The room was completely dated and the air in the building smelled of a broken sewer pipe. If interested—It was also a one hour walk to the city up hill or 30 minute bus so not convenient at all! Just Avoid this place.

Lovely clean room and bathroom exactly as expected. Staff were helpful at check in and explained the check out procedure. Situated just off the main Leith tram route so easy to find although it is also walkable from the main city area and walkable down to Leith. Certainly would stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable and the linens were perfectly clean, which I appreciated. However, I would strongly advise wearing slippers in the bedroom and bathroom. The floors were quite dirty, and specifically, there were dried urine stains on the bathroom floor around the toilet. It’s clear that the cleaning is not done thoroughly.
