This is my third time staying at Kanra Hotel Kyoto. I love this place. Next time I hope to stay longer. The staff is so wonderful. The rooms are very clean. Love that they have room service. Food is delicious! Pretty much love everything about this hotel!!

Amazing hotel, can’t recommend enough! 24/7 free drinks in the lobby and the rooms were traditional and beautiful. Very luxe. Location was perfect. 10/10!

Hotel Kanra was absolutely spectacular. Our family of three found the rooms to be ample in size and the staff was very accommodating and kind. The breakfast buffet was very good and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Though, I would note that the train station closet to the hotel (2 minute walk to the platform) there is no elevator which was a bit of struggle with our toddler and stroller. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely spacious clean rooms with very comfortable futon beds and a great shower . Great location for the station and day trips . Lovely bonus of free teas , coffees , beers and wine . Nishiki , shopping etc 20 min walk , Gion 40 mins or quick taxi ride . We would have liked a casual dining option for evenings after long days and some sweet treats along with the coffee would have been nice .
