Great location, great staff, overall love this hotel! The location is perfect for visiting everywhere in Budapest. The only thing I would recommend is if you’re used to American air-conditioning, you may want to request a fan from the front desk.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room and the hotel were very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, very centric and walking distance to mostly everything.

Room, bed sheets, towels are very clean. Water leaks through shower door which makes the bathroom floor more wet than expected. St. Stephen’s Basilica is at your doorstep. Lots and lots of food choices. Perfect for family with young children.

Stayed for 3 nights in a Deluxe Double Room and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The hotel is relatively small and has limited facilities i.e no bar or restaurant but provides a comfortable base to explore Budapest. The location right across from St Stephen’s Basilica means the area is busy but the rooms remained quiet throughout, with the blackout shutters a welcome addition especially during the hot summer days. Stayed in a room right next to the lift but was not disturbed by this at all. Breakfast was served in the basement area and a good selection for a Continental breakfast although found the hot options limited and bacon very undercooked for my liking. The toaster was also excruciatingly slow! The only other criticism would be the size of the shower cubicle which was very small for such a large bathroom so unnecessary in my view. Overall though a nice stay in a lovely, large room with a comfortable bed which is all you can ask for.

Beautiful hotel right in front of Basilica!

Great location near St Stephen’s Basilica. Large room, clean , all the things you need.

The family room was spacious! And we had a direct view of the Basilica out of every window. The room had a stuffy, ash tray smell, but opening windows helped. Otherwise VERY clean and well maintained with high quality bedding and furniture. The “shuttle” is not a shuttle, but concierge-arranged hired car service, 2-3x more expensive than a taxi for a family. Otherwise Metro and bus stops are steps away from the front door. Above all, the location was ideal for getting to all of the sites and restaurants. Would stay there again, 100%

Very good location good size rooms fine mediocre breakfast a lot of restaurants around automatic shatters for privacy good air condition on a pedestrian street car parking not that far in hotel kempinski

We had a very pleasant stay. The air conditioning worked well, which made the room comfortable even during hot weather. The bed was very comfortable, and the room itself was spacious with plenty of space to relax. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would be happy to stay here again.

Staff was not helpful and watched every move at breakfast and felt uncomfortable
