I can’t believe that you provide absolutely no leniency toward your customers when things happen out of their control. We were scheduled to take our grandson to a baseball tournament in Northeast Calgary but because of the weather the City of Calgary closed the use of all baseball diamonds. We were notified of this on Friday afternoon. We notified the hotel immediately asking for either a refund or a credit to use at the hotel for another date. We were refused any compensation for this situation. I understand if you did not want to give us a 100% refund but I can’t understand why you would not at least give us a stay at the hotel at another date. Our tournament is going to be rescheduled for another date now and we will end up having to pay again for a room.

We stayed for one night while in town for a medical appointment and overall had a very positive experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. One thing we really enjoyed was the pool area. It was clean, well-kept, and had a nice picnic area where families could bring in supper, sit together, and enjoy the pool and waterslides. It was a thoughtful touch that made the space feel very family-friendly. The main reason I rated the property maintenance lower was because the toilet seat in our room was in rough condition, with a significant amount of the finish bubbling & peeling. It looked worn and unsanitary, even though the bathroom itself appeared clean. This seems like a relatively inexpensive item to replace and would make a big difference in the overall impression of the room.
