Really large rooms with jacuzzi inside. Complimentary entrance and shuttle to Kitoku hot springs was a great bonus. Breakfast was fine - I’ve had greater variety and quality at other stays on this trip but it was good with standard Costa Rican and US options. Two things I felt could have been better a) in the hotel information and at breakfast there were lots of warnings of charges should patrons break the rules which I understand but felt a little unwelcoming, b) I was asked which restaurant I would like to eat at when I arrived and picked the informal option, and on arriving there was told I couldn’t eat from their menu as all their dishes were for a minimum of two people which was very unwelcoming for solo travellers. Whilst the staff tried to solve the issue and said I could order from their à la carte restaurant and have it brought down I needed to see the menu so changed restaurant. I don’t blame the staff for this, I’ve just never been to a restaurant where it’s entire premise is you have to be in a group 2+ and found the experience alienating.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa. The staff have been amazing and attentive. We love our suite looking at the gorgeous grounds and volcano. It’s perfect! I enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arenal Kioro! I could not have been happier with our choice! The rooms were so nice and spacious, huge windows, comfortable and clean! The view of the volcano and hotel grounds was spectacular. The on site and off site hot springs were beautiful comfortable and everything I hoped for! I only wish our stay was longer to more fully enjoy everything the location had to offer. Every last one of the hotel staff was kind and helpful. I can’t wait to go back!

Wow! Amazing , Amazing experience. The service is 10/10 all the guys at the front desk were so friendly and responsive to our questions or concerns. Juan, Emmanuel were great. The restaurant service and food was exceptional. Both breakfast and dinner. The property was beautiful, the room could maybe use a little updating but it was nonetheless clean and beautiful. We were blown away, so happy we chose to stay here close to everything you need. Having security at the main gate made us feel very safe. Would love to return if we ever went back to La fortuna, but there’s so much to see in Costa Rica. We love it, Pura Vida!!

We had a fantastic one night stay! One of our favorite experiences of our entire Costa Rica trip was exploring the hotel grounds early in the morning. We saw parrots, toucans, coatis, monkeys, and more. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The family room we stayed in was spacious and well appointed. I had a massage at the spa that was fantastic! I highly recommend this property and would stay again without hesitation. I hope we have the chance to!
