This is my second time staying in the Lamp Light Books Hotel Nagoya. It is conveniently located close to a station, which easily accessible from Nagoya station. The hotel is very inviting and the cafe attached to the hotel is nice too. I had a matcha latte there, which was delicious. The bathroom is one of the best that I've experienced in hotels in Japan. It's more modern, with a large shower. The room is comfortable, and has a chair that you can sit on to relax and read as well, which is a rarity in similar hotels. The only real downside to this hotel in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in are that the room lacks enough hooks to hang belongings and clothes. The amount of clothes hangers provided is not enough, and the room could really benefit from hooks for things like towels, coats etc.

2nd visit to this hotel and it’s a Great hotel, really friendly staff, spacious rooms and the area is quiet but only a few minute walk to a station. The cafe serves some really nice drinks and there are books to borrow if you like reading.

I LOVED this hotel. It very much my vibe. I like that it was so conveniently located near a train station, the staff were always so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was also very delicious. The staff was so accommodating to allow me to get my breakfast early in the morning before my marathon. I really appreciated that flexibility. The room itself was so so cozy. I love the thoughtfulness of the reading chair and the ability to rent out books while we stayed. Each floor only had a few rooms, so it made it feel very private. I had a great time and WHEN I come back for the marathon I would absolutely bring all of my friends. Thank you for a great stay!
