Vegas can’t beat it

for a 34 year old Resort and Casino, you can see the deterioration in the interiors, like the elevators, carpets, furniture. the inside of the rooms like the TV and they have not brought back the coffee tea nook and small refrigerators for whatever food or drinks you have brought back from their restaurants. Since its called resort and Casino, customers expect more, but is short

Book a room in tower, and staff said they gave my room away. Gave me a downgrade.

Hotel should be transparent & honest that they do not provide a mini fridge. We were there when it was extremely hot & weren't able to have cold water. I called to ask for fridge & sat on hold 45 min to be told they don't provide a fridge we'd have to upgrade to a suite. I asked how much that might be & they said I'd have to pay for a new reservation & request my money back from 1st reservation. Wow! Most of the plugs in room were very loose & wouldn't charge phone so we had 1 outlet in bathroom to work with. When we turned on TV most of channels never came in except the ones in another language. BIG ISSUE was A/C or lack of. Like I said it was extremely hot & room was facing pool ( East side) due to heat we were never able to open blinds & enjoy view but our AC didn't work. Luckily I brought a room fan or we'd really be in trouble. I called again for maintenance to check it out this time I sat on hold almost an hour to be told no time frame when but they'll send someone. No one ever came. We checked friends room nearby for AC to see if it was from heat but that room was fine. No sleep from heat. We had to pay extra for a late check out & last my BF accidentally left his Timberland work boots in closet. Within a few hours I sent an email because couldn't speak to anyone. We know they were taken or tossed by housekeeping because we left them as expected we got a reply sorry can't locate. Why is nothing ever located at hotels when left. Housekeeping is shady. Regret the stay

Chequen bien el precio, a mi me dieron un precio y pague en linea y cuando llegue aparte que se tardaron tanto para darme la llave también me cobraron otros 70 dlls y el estacionamiento 25 extras, solo fuimos por 1 noche 2 adultos

The front desk was very helpful. While there were obvious challenges, grace should be given to the workers as they were addressing thousands of people. It was a great experience for me and I will definitely return.

My stay at Luxor was good! I can see where the property is a little dated and remodeling should be considered but overall my stay was great. My room was clean and I had no disturbances of other guests or staff. I would stay again but may next try the Tower side instead of the Pyramid side of the hotel. Thanks!
