Modern room, clean and well up to standard for a typical hotel room. Iron and hairdryer, plus safe in the room. The entrance is a bit anonymous, as we happened to be looking at a property on the other side of the road and walked straight past it, but once we realised where it was, clearly no issue. All the staff we dealt with were very helpful. Took their advice and got down for breakfast at 8, and straight to a table - did notice queuing later on. Buffet style breakfast and reasonable choice. I would stay there again - convenenient to access - tram stop about one minute away and there was some car parking. Five minutes walk from the Utilitaria Arena where we were going to see a Show. Lots of venues with very loud music playing in the street as we walked back (11pm on a Saturday night) but back in our room couldn't hear noise. All in all a pleasant stay even though just the one night.

Bedroom and bathroom both clean and spotless. Beds comfy. Queued a bit at check in but it was just after 3 so peak time. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lifts had queues as well. Breakfast disappointing, would prefer better quality continental rather than all the offering of poor quality. Nothing wrong with options or the way it is offered on the buffet, just not great quality.

Fantastic breakfast lovely staff

The rooms were nice, we had a family room which had just enough space for a short stay. Staff were nice and grand helpful throughout. Location is good, easy access to all local amenities. My only disappointment about the stay was the breakfast, we all as a family felt it let the hotel down, the quality and variety of of option were minimal, the scrambled egg and sausages were not great, eggs were gritty and the sausages were cheap in quality, not what I would expect from a Hilton branded hotel. The breakfast has made us think whether we would want to book another Hampton by Hilton hotel again, which is a real shame as everything else was good.

Great location and price. Breakfast included was ok. Room was poor with cracked sink and toilet door that would not stay shut and without a latch. Lots of AC droning noise through the bed noise that disrupts sleep. But for the price and location, hotel is OK.

Clean room. Toilet could do with an air freshener. No lock on the toilet door which was a let down.

Great location near Brindley Place, Five Ways station and the city all easily accessible on foot. A good car park as well attached to the hotel.

nice attention and excellent services, together with good environment make our trip so happy.

Holtel was very clean and tidy, easy access to centre with transport. Overall experience was great breakfast also was excellent. Will vist again.

The location is great for restaurants etc. parking option good. Welcoming at reception. All good things done. Had issue with bathroom door not closing. Reported to reception and quick response. First facilities person you could tell did not want to d the job as said will take some time. We insisted it be sorted for privacy. Next facility person arrived and just got on with the job. The only improvement made from a 2” gap opening to a 1” inch opening and still can’t fully close. I said expect a higher standard with interior as Travelodge would be a comparison. Answered with we are a standard of a Travelodge. Won’t be booking Hilton anymore. Breakfast options not great and don’t consider gluten free. Wil be going bac Crown Plaza next time in Birmingham as used to stay here
