We had a wonderful stay at Riad Karmela! The riad itself is beautiful and full of Moroccan charm, with lovely common areas and amenities that made it feel like a peaceful retreat after exploring the busy streets of Marrakech. The location was excellent—right within the Medina and very walkable to the souks, restaurants, and many of the places we wanted to visit. Our room was spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. What really made our experience special, though, was the staff, especially Omar. He was incredibly helpful, warm, and accommodating and seemed to help us with pretty much everything we needed—from answering questions and giving directions to helping us navigate our plans around Marrakech. Having someone so attentive and genuinely willing to help made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you, Omar! The only area that could use some improvement is the bathroom, which felt a little dated compared with the rest of the beautiful property and could benefit from an update. This was a minor point and did not take away from our overall experience. We truly enjoyed our stay at Riad Karmela and loved experiencing the charm of staying inside the Medina. Between the beautiful riad, convenient location, and exceptional hospitality, we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech!

We enjoyed our stay here. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others. We stayed in the family suite which was very spacious for our family. Breakfast was good. Staff were always super helpful. The riad was gorgeous and they have a pet turtle. The swimming pool was a little on the smaller size, great to chill in but not really swim in. Location was great for the main square and medina area, lots of souks in walking distance and you get a nice vibe from the medina; the alleyways and structures reminded me of Aladdin. The slight issue we found was you will need to walk 5-10 minutes to get dropped up and picked up for excursions and to/from airport; this is fine for adults but a bit harder with kids in 45C

The staff were the true gems of this riad. Every single one of them was genuinely kind and helpful, which is something so rare to find in any accommodation. The breakfast service was excellent, and the location is very well connected to the souks, the main square and the pickup points for major excursions, including the hot-air balloon ride and Ouzoud Waterfalls. One staff member in particular went above and beyond to make us feel safe near the riad. He accompanied us to the nearest pickup point for our hot-air balloon trip at 4 a.m. and even helped us arrange our journey back to the airport. This person truly reflects the warmth and hospitality of Marrakesh. My partner and I will definitely return to Marrakesh, and especially to this riad. Impeccable service! :)

I almost ended up canceling this place and going with another place, as there are so many choices, however, I'm so glad I didn't. The location works out really well, but I can't say enough about the staff and how accommodating they were. We arrived early before check-in at 12:00 and they allowed us to go upstairs to the terrace and eat breakfast for free. We didn't have to wait long for our room and if you're a family or need two bedrooms then pay a little extra for the suite. It was like our own little apartment at the riad. We also all got the hammam experience as well as a massage which was absolutely incredible. Buffet breakfast was very enjoyable each morning and had plenty of options. But by far our favorite part of the entire stay was Omar. He went out of his way to ensure our stay was going well, to help us with whatever we needed and was such a joy to interact with on a daily basis. I wouldn't stay anywhere else and highly endorse Riad Karmela!

Service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A little difficult to get there only because you can’t be dropped off by taxi and you have to walk about 15 minutes to get there. Great experience overall.
