Misleading and Unprofessional- moved to a different hotel (poorer rated) without notice. We booked Hotel Royal Bissolati for four nights in Rome and were very disappointed by how things were handled. When we arrived to check in, we were suddenly told that the room had “water issue” and that we would need to go to another hotel instead. There was no prior email, message, or phone call to warn us about this change. It all felt very suspicious- the staff simply directed us elsewhere and offered no proof of the problem. We booked Royal Bissolati for a reason, and being redirected to a completely different (poorer rated) hotel without notice is unacceptable. Be cautious when booking here - make sure the hotel will actually honor your reservation or at least communicate properly if there are issues.

Great location with wonderful staff and a fabulous choice of breakfast. The roof terrace was lovely to sit out on in the evening. Will return the next time we are in Rome.

RUN ! I would never suggest this hotel. I had to change 4 times of room as each of them had issues : handles broken, phone broken, no window, sink leaking in various rooms, windows that could not close (funny enough, the owner told me it was not big of a deal). Managers even tried to put me in a lesser category. And last but not least, a party got organized for the 16 ish kid of the owners and the roof. Result ? Kids running in the whole hotel, many clients complaint, heavy music until after 1am. Only owner word : come drink with us, it will pass quicker. Again, run. I have to congratulate the only hotel staff hotel who was cared and who was competent, Giulia. You are a rock to be able to stay there.

Great hotel, with very welcoming personnel at reception, open to explain where to go and places to visit. The room was very comfortable and the bed was just the right mattress for a good night's sleep after a long day. The linen felt so soft and comfy. I love the stay at this property!!

What i loved most about this hotel was the staff. I found them last minute since there was a booking midhap with my original stay and i was so tired, confused and anxious but they were so welcoming. The chef was a delightful young man who offered great recommendations where to eat and helped us book our tickets to our next stop. They let us try some wonderful loaf cakes they just baked for the morning breakfast. They really made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone and i will surely be going back on my next trip to Rome.
