Pod priemerom Excellent location, poorly set up. Our room was on the 3rd level but after getting off the elevator, we had to take the steps anyway. The carpet was very old and dirty. In our room, some of the outlets were not working or would stop working in the middle of the night. As the result, we were surprised to find the phons not fully charged the following day. Breakfast was good , staff were hard working and curious. Our room was too small and amenities were limited to soap and shampoo. On our last night, my husband had to go to the lobby and ask for towels. Apparently, they hind the used towels from the day before in the bathroom. He came back with hand towels only. They told him they were out of bath towels.

Dobre First night we were given an attic room where we could not stand upcoming out one side of the bed, nor was there room to open carry-on luggage. The next night we were given an ADA room which was spacious but frankly the hotel did not feel great. The location however was great and the staff very kind. Breakfast was OK.

Dobre The photos don’t look like reality. Rooms are tiny and this is not an accessible hotel (too many stairs and no ramps)

Fantastické I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gamla Stan. Great location for exploring the Old Town, the Palace, and other areas of Stockholm. Close proximity to the ferries that provide transport to the museums, although the walk to that island is lovely too. Also close to sightseeing boats and I really enjoyed and recommend the 2 hour archipelago cruise. The breakfast spread at this hotel was outstanding and included with the room. I’m already missing the Swedish pancakes and lingonberry jam I had each morning. My only complaint was that there were no caffeine free teas available. I know that’s pretty minor, but because of a health condition I cannot have caffeine and I really missed having a good herbal tea in the morning with breakfast. I will definitely stay at Hotel Gamla Stan the next time I’m in Stockholm!

Fantastické On the top of being a great hotel to stay at, it is centrally situated and consequently it provides all the facilities required to discover different faces of Stockholm without struggling with trams or buses.
I would highly recommend that address to land on an enjoyable experience 👍😊

Skvelé Breakfast was fine we had a twin room that was small and not well designed so ask about the room if you need a twin (2 beds).

Fantastické We loved our stay here! The bed was comfy and room cozy. Staff was always friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed dining recommendations. We loved the location in old town Gamla Stan and wandering streets to shop and dine. The hotel is in walking distance to Skansen, Vasa, the palace, the cathedral and many other Stockholm sites plus it's near a Hop on Hop off bus stop so you can easily get to other areas of town. Breakfast was amazing and they even packed us a brown bag breakfast to take with us when we had an early morning check out to catch a flight. We will stay here again the next time we come to Stockholm!
