The staff was super-friendly and inviting. I couldn't stop talking about how charming this place was, nestled right in the shadow of the Trop. Our room was very clean, and bathroom toiletries were provided. We enjoyed a great complimentary breakfast before we departed on Sunday. I would definitely recommend to all of my friends.

Fantastické Parking was a little tough, but it was New Year’s Eve. Place is neat, clean, historic. A nice place to stay. No elevator, so be prepared to climb stairs.

We happened upon this stay by mistake. We thought it was the Chelsea by tropicana. It ended up being a bed and breakfast. It was quaint, old fashioned, and clean. No elevators cause it was a very old historic building. Not sure if there was a fire escape. Our room got so hot we couldnt sleep. It must have bern 80-85 degrees. No thermostat. No way ti call front desk. However, it was reasonable and a very cute place. Gotta fix that heat situation. When we got home we had to go to bed.

A meticulously-restored Victorian mansion, The Chelsea is a remnant of a bygone Atlantic City. Tucked in the midst of tacky casino towers, a stay here presents a wonderful, quiet alternative for the business or pleasure traveller to the smoke-filled noisy gambling resorts. Clean and comfortable with a friendly staff and very reasonable rates, both parking and a continental breakfast were included in my stay. For all my conference travel to AC going forward, I’ll look to The Chelsea.

Good alternative to staying at casino hotel. Good location. Had the feel of an above average old fashioned guest house.

Parking was safe, location is across the street from Tropicana, room was very clean, bed was king size, front door always locked, and staff was very kind. Saved $200 a night. Breakfast was included. Will return and save $400 for two nights. Very rustic and charming.
