Good for the money, but definitely not a 4-star property, not sure what the requirements are in Uruguay. I probably would have spent a little more for an actual 4-star property.

Located on a safe, pretty, leafy street with several restaurants proximate. Staff (and Uruguaians in general) spoke english well. The breakfast area turns into a lunch/dinner restaurant and with something ordered can act as a gathering spot as there is not such an area in the lobby. Hotel is within 2 blocks from the Rambla (pictured), a lovely 17 mile walkway along the coast. I got a third floor room with private terrace and terrace shared space with multiple air conditioner units (these are not the highest level terraces pictured on website) but sliding door in my room did open to 3rd floor pool area which had patio with seating.

Skvelé
room was not so clean, smudge marks on bathroom doors and shower stalls. Courtyard windows look into other rooms , so drawn curtains are a must for privacy. Staff was great, courteous and helpful.
