Really run-down place and not well maintained. Rats on property. Bed cover was in such bad shape it should have been recycled several years ago. No remote control for the TV in room. Shower in unpleasant condition. I would not recommend this property.

Property was very clean, staff was very accommodating, and the location was excellent. Short walking distance to the cliff side view, and a friendly pup to greet us!

Was a bit hard to find the place as the place is gated and requires to be buzzed in until you get a key after checking in. We walked to the back and front a couple times. Beautiful garden once inside with a pool/loungers. The staff was helpful with recommendations! Was a half hour walk to Sorrento. Easy to take the bus from Sorrento to the hotel, but impossible to take the bus from the hotel to Sorrento (very inconsistent bus schedule and location). The air conditioning in the room didn't work the best, but wasn't sweltering hot. Felt uncomfortable leaving our bags in the main hallway and not in a locked room for "baggage storage" though, staff were on property.

Realmente me gustó mucho estar ahi, hay calidez en el ambiente y la pasé muy bien, he calificado con 3 estrellas las instalaciones para que los futuros huéspedes sepan que es un edificio viejo y tiene algunas deficiencias y no los tome por sorpresa, también considerar que tiene parqueo algo muy importante debido que es muy difícil encontrar donde parquear en esa zona .

It was good for budget stay on Amalfi coast. Simple Italian breakfast Nice garden, view is nice . It's a former Monastery so it gives some charm to it . Keep in mind It takes 40 min walking to the Sorrento train station otherwise you need to get Taxi to get to Sorrento . Each short taxi ride anywhere is 30 euro. There was a pool but we could not use it because it is open only 10 to 7 and we were out for a day before that and back in after 7 pm . Overall it was nice , primarily it would be good for young people who can walk a lot .

The breakfast is just pastries.

The staff was nice, a very minimal but fresh breakfast, too bad there wasn’t more fruit. The rooms were clean and good wifi but it says air conditioning in the room and it was more like a light fan, we all slept with no blankets as the room was very hot. The pool wasn’t large but worked great for the kids. There is a small dog on the property that we didn’t know about. Find for us as we like dogs. Walked to Sorrento was about 20ish minutes if your fit and our kids (8&6) had no problems either.

**MOTORCYCLE FRIENDLY** I cannot recommend Porto Salvo highly enough. This family-owned and operated B&B is exactly the kind of place that makes traveling in Italy magical. The family is absolutely fantastic, warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure your stay is perfect. As a solo motorcycle traveler, I especially appreciated how moto-friendly they were. They let me park my motorcycle right in their private courtyard, which gave me complete peace of mind throughout my stay. That kind of hospitality is rare and made all the difference. Breakfast every morning is a real treat, fresh homemade croissants, an assortment of bakery pastries, and proper espresso and caffè to start the day right. Not your standard hotel buffet, this is real, hand-prepared Italian breakfast served by people who care. Location is ideal. It’s a short walk into downtown Sorrento for dinner and evening strolls, but tucked into a quiet pocket of Sant’Agnello where you actually get to sleep at night. For anyone planning to explore the Amalfi Coast or take the train to Pompeii or Herculaneum (as I did), this is a perfect base. If you want a family-run experience with personal touches, secure parking, and genuine Italian hospitality, book Porto Salvo. You won’t regret it.

Basic and very clean room, lovely quiet area and great value for money, and only 20 minutes walk into main centre of Sorrento. Felt like a very safe area, and some amazing views from the property.
