A quirky hotel with large room and was fine for two nights - very noisy outside for most of the Saturday night - but comfortable beds and clean bathroom with good shower. Friendly and helpful staff - I would stay again but it is all a little odd!

The rooms are themed after horror movies, they should make that part of their description. Our first room you could not adjust the shower temp, it was only scolding hot. So the next day the moved out of the Psycho room and in to the Stage Fright room. The show is a jacuzzi tub with a shower head coming out of the jacuzzi. The night club noise can be loud, but dealt with. The noise any time someone opens or shuts a door is startling. It’s an odd hotel, made for 18 year olds going clubbing downstairs. Our room had 4 king beds in it. Strange. The location and the staff were both great!

Do not let the three stars fool you. We had a great stay at the Arthouse, BUT, the Air Conditioning did not work at all and neither did the mini fridge. The night club below also will keep you up at night if you are a light sleeper. HOWEVER, the staff they have is incredible and did the very best to accommodate and help us with anything we had questions about. I would give the Arthouse another chance, just not in this heatwave.

We did not enjoy our time at the Arthouse Hotel, as we had numerous problems that negatively affected our stay. My family and I stayed in the Chicago room, which had a broken air conditioner and a lack of cold water from any of the taps (even after letting it run for a while). Even more troubling was that the room was directly above the downstairs club, which played loud music until 5am!!! This made it impossible to sleep, and we effectively paid a significant amount of money to lie awake in a hot, uncomfortable, and loud room. The staff tried to address our concerns somewhat, but we couldn't be moved to another room (because the hotel was full). Instead, they provided bottled water and a fan (though more fans were promised but never showed up). This was one of the worst stays at a hotel we have ever encountered, and I would not recommend for a future stay.

A great overnight stay, perfect room and location with Eva in the reception been one of the most helpful and nicest receptionists I've had the pleasure of meeting. A credit to the hotel.

Good clean property good value for money

Fridge did not work. Floor was rotting, wallpaper falling off the wall with damp. Very unhelpful staff. Did not give me my ID back and won’t send it back to me unless I send them an envelope with postage on it. Wouldn’t recommend this.
