Our stay at The Central was wonderful. The staff were so lovely and caring. Our room was huge , the decor was gorgeous. We slept really well with a comfy bed and no noise which a small boutique hotel such as this gives that sense of quiet. Breakfast was simple but just perfect for us and all excellent quality. Happy hour provided was an absolute delight we loved it . There is no negative about this little hotel , and we did not hire a car and found the 5 min walk to downtown Queenstown easy and always felt safe. The only nit pick would be our bathroom was a bit small but we got around that and I’m just being honest. Clean fluffy towels heated towel rails and piping hot shower. Look .. what’s not to love , I can’t wait to go back to this cute hotel and I will miss the staff. Queenstown is just the most divine place I’ve ever seen. Oh and the effort that went into a birthday wish and the yummy macarons was precious

What a great find! I loved staying at the central hotel as the staff were friendly. The amenities were great especially the spa and it was in a convenient location so it was easy to get to all the cafes and activities in town. The room was spacious and had a great view and I thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast.

The hotel was a great little find, very close to the centre of Queenstown & its beach. The staff were very helpful, we had a large room, with a comfy bed & powerful shower and a big bath. It was great that a continental breakfast was included, with good food options, nespresso coffee machine and choices of milk.. There were complimentary drinks and crisps in the room and you were able to help yourself to more from the fridges in the lounge room. The hotel also has a complimentary happy hour with drinks & cheeses etc which we didn’t go to as I thought it was a joke!! So don’t make my mistake!! Very pleased we chose this lovely small hotel. (The only suggestion we’d make is that the hotel could do with a bit of redecoration as we found our room colour a bit dark)..
