Excellent hotel, convenient location, good air conditioning, really good food at the restaurant. Aside from one slightly stroppy lady behind the bar, the staff were attentive and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was having to pay additional for parking in the hotel car park.

The Holiday Inn is situated off the A3(M)and Eastern road. It is not in Portsmouth which is 4-5 miles way. There is adequate parking at £6 per day with a voucher. Reception staff were helpful and provided information on mealtimes etc. We were allocated a quiet ground floor room at the rear of the hotel away form the main road which was appreciated. The room was spacious and well decorated with Aircon and working shower. The bed was new and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the £90per night cost, it was adequate but quite busy at 07.30 in the morning. I would rate this an upper 3 star hotel.

Two rooms booked, one standard double satisfactory, the other without air conditioning on the hottest day of the year, advised hotel full and unable to accommodate further, presented with a fan, no discounts or remuneration except one drink at the bar. will not be returning although an IHG Gold Card member.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and professional. A bonus was the aircon in the rooms (we were there during the heatwave) nice comfy bed too!

Rooms good quality and size. Staff very helpful and friendly and there for any questions or needs you have and nothing is a problem for them. Great breakfast which was included for free. Great location to head into Portsmouth also a good access roads as well.

We have stayed in many hotels Portsmouth and were pleasantly surprised with the Holiday Inn. Parking was available, safe and easy. Ana who checked us in was efficient and friendly. The hotel and our room was spotless. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included in the price and we enjoyed the selection. The quality of the coffee was excellent 👌 Would definitely book again.
