The hotel is a bit more dated than I expected, but the staff provide good service. The breakfast is fairly average.

This property is looking fairly tired. We had a superior room with incredible views and lovely high ceilings, so the room was spacious and easy to relax in. It is, however, in need of some maintenance - chipped laminate, water damaged skirtings etc. The staff are exceptional, very friendly and helpful, super respectful. There was one waiter in particular we would like to give a shoutout to - my apologies for misspelling his name, which I believe is Jhorarule - he was absolutely lovely; even if he wasn’t serving us himself, he would come over and say hello and make sure we were okay. It was the staff who really made our stay so much better.

The sound proof of the room was not good enough especially closing door ‘bang’ noise. The bed sheet was spotted some hairs from the last guest.

The property has aged since we were last there in 2022 and 2024. The buffet dinner at the Spice Garden is still pretty good with lots of varieties.

Writing The stay was amazing. Despite the remote location — you need to take a Grab to get to the city centre — the ocean view was absolutely worth it, especially for the price we paid. The room was clean, and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely recommend purchasing the breakfast, as it was excellent. We also received a couple’s discount when purchasing breakfast directly at the restaurant. In addition, we had an amazing dinner at the downstairs restaurant with a beautiful ocean view. On the downside, be careful with the step when entering the bathroom. I also wish there had been more than just two bath towels provided, and another one placed on top of the toilet bowl. It would have been nice to have more than one bottle of combined hair and body wash in the shower as well. My husband used the gym and mentioned that the air conditioning seemed to be turned off all the time — working out in a stuffy room without AC was quite uncomfortable. It also seemed like a very strong air freshener was being used to mask the smell. Overall, it was a great stay, but there is still room for improvement.

Not a great experience, room was dirty , room safes did not work , terrible sound proofing, very outdated and not a pleasant stay

This property is quite old, according to our Grab driver it's about 50 years old and it shows. They only have 3 lifts, one of which wasn't in service the entire time we were there. The lifts were slow and crowded. Our room had torn bedding the day we checked in, the bathroom had grime under the sink. This property way past its prime. The only thing they have going for them is its location and the people who work there, service was excellent. Everyone greeted guests with warm smiles. The breakfast buffett was very good, that alone made up for much that is wrong with this hotel.

Beachfront and clean.
