great room for the family with helpful staff. location good and breakfast is outstanding.

Room was basic but clean and all we needed as a base for our trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! The kids loved the buffet and there was lots of choice. We loved the rooftop terrace bar and pool area. A great way to cool down and relax with a sangria after a busy day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend.

We were a family of 3. Mum with two teens. We travel extensively and globally so this review is very honest. We arrived at the hotel around 10am. Arriving at the hotel we never expected our rooms to be ready and so asked for the bags to be kept in storage while we enjoyed the day. Sadly there were only 2 people working on reception and one of those took over 1hour with another family. When we returned at 2pm to collect our room key the reception area was chaotic with still only 2 people working reception. A verbal argument broke out between 2 guests as there was no order in place for people waiting for a room. Also, Delta crew turned up to check-in , which was dealt with immediately. Eventually we were given a room only to find that the sofa bed was still not made up. The hotel phone in the room has no button for housekeeping and reception did not answer the phone. Eventually I walked the corridors to find a lady working in housekeeping to help prepare our room. We approached reception again to ask if we could book a tour. The lady laughed in my face and gestured to a machine stating that i could try that but people book months in advance so doubt i would find anything. Every hotel we usually stay in has a concierge desk, usually eager to help guide us. All the Novotel had was a security guy ( who i might add was useless when the two guests had a loud argument regarding pushing in the line to check in). There's so much more i could write but not enough room on page! Avoid

We arrived and checked in, we had booked a family room and had to ask 4 times for our room to be made up to a family room before this was done 8hrs later. The breakfast Was ok. The room could do with abit of an update the shower was not very nice to look at, around the bottom of the shower tray was all black with mold. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for the kids. Not a large area so some days we had to sit on the ledge but this was nice to look out. It’s a good hotel for the kids for sure.

Check in was slow and front desk representatives were not particularly customer oriented. Rooms had no tissues except toilet paper, no blankets, no coverlets for the beds and no washcloths. I know the last item is typical for European hotels; but Novotel is an international chain that should meet international standards.Repeated requests to provide a blanket/cover for the bed went unfulfilled until I walked to the front desk and waited while they contacted hsousekeeping. Employees frequently chatted with one another while guests were waiting for service. This included front desk personnel, restaurant personnel and housekeeping. The hotel was expensive for the quality of services and amenitites.

Just outside the hotel there is a sewage opening on the side at the road which seems to be in line with the entrance, just imagine the fowl smell. The reception A-1 staff A-1 our room very small for a family room with only 2 visible electric outlets. The bathroom sink was blocked and let’s not talk about the shower, needs renovations. Breakfast good wifi good. The top pool good but lots of children jumping everywhere on the ledge and splashing everyone. No one came from the staff to talk to the parents to manage their kids Too far from the main attraction with a hefty price to pay. We asked the front desk to change rooms on the first hour of our stay, of course they said we’re all booked but your new room will be ready tomorrow. Crickets….. nothing, no one called, No blankets for everyone, we had to ask the front desk twice for towels. Final impressions……. No more Novotel for me. Oh la crème de la crème, the air conditioner seems to give you the power to adjust it but naw same temperature. Won’t chill to your convenience.
