Our stay had both positives and frustrations, with the biggest issue being the check-in process.
We arrived early and understood our room might not be ready, but after being repeatedly told it would be "another 30 minutes," we didn't get access until after 5pm. This was particularly difficult as I was travelling with my mother, who has mobility issues and is undergoing cancer treatment. The reception staff member we initially dealt with was not especially helpful, but Beatrice handled the situation professionally and kindly offered complimentary breakfast and a dining voucher, which we appreciated.
We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living area, and balcony. However, it felt somewhat dated and lacked enough towels and water for three guests. The lack of mirrors near plug sockets also made getting ready inconvenient.
Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection and friendly staff. The bar and restaurant teams were also welcoming throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, service was inconsistent. We had to request toilet paper twice after waiting two hours for the first request to be fulfilled. We were also told we could use the outdoor hot tub facilities, only to discover they were closed for maintenance until next year, which was disappointing as we had planned to use them during our stay.
Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential, with spacious accommodation and some excellent staff. However, poor check-in inconsistent service detracted from experience
