We stayed for 8 nights! Location is great for Myongdong shopping! My wife loved it so much (my wallet is the opposite). We did not have breakfast (so no comment, but were offered a welcome drink which is a nice gesture). We stayed in the standard room, which was a bit small but thats what we paid for (other room types were available) and it had a bath tub which is a plus! Room was clean and comfortable! Staff were nice. Restocked drinking water everyday. Overall we enjoyed our stay! However, Lotte Hotel is still my favorite hotel in the area!

The location of the hotel is perfect within steps for shopping and night market. Just need to upgrade your room if you want a bit more space otherwise the standard room is way too small.

The Royal Hotel is very comfortable, clean, and honest. The beds were cozy, and the transportation was great. The location is perfect for traveling around Korea with children because we could easily come back and rest between trips. This was the best part! Also, the staff were very friendly. When we asked for a taxi, they even came outside to check on it. We were so touched by their service. I also left my necklace at the hotel, but I could find it easily thanks to them.

The room itself was in good condition, but the customer service was highly disappointing. The front desk agent at both check-in and check-out was completely unwelcoming—never making eye contact, smiling, or greeting me. On top of that, I was assigned a room with a terrible view facing a large building AC unit. I did not feel welcomed at this property.
