The room was wonderful - great bed, lots of amenities, fantastic view! The only criticism I can think of is that the alarm clock was set for 6am and took a couple of tries to turn off! Other than that, perfect!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and lobby were clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Gym was not good. Elevator was sketchy. It is also haunted

This location was better for me than waterfront downtown hotels--gave access to neighborhoods and walking on The Common and the Citadel. Waterfront is a hike or a bus ride. I was surprised that the staff could not offer me any information or even a booklet of restaurants in the area, no concierge--except that there was a dominos. They told me the Armory was a church. At least support local restaurants! After exploring, I found the darling and local Dilly Dally Cafe for excellent montreal bagel sandwiches and coffee drinks. Also went to restaurants/pubs on Quinpool and Angricola. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, property needs some plants on the exterior and updates on the elevator. Guest laundry -- a big plus for a weary traveler. Overall a good value.

This hotel has had a major facelift since last time I stayed here and it's great! The room was spacious, very clean, and it's an easy walk to anywhere downtown from there. Cannot say enough good things about the front desk staff, the serving staff at The Cannery, and the AMAZING food. I'll definitely stay here next time.

The pool area was not very clean or updated, the hottub especially. We asked on a few occasions for things to be brought up to the room, like robes for the correct number of registered guests, but these didn’t arrive in a timely way. Location was not ideal.

The aircon was so loud, it was hard to sleep.

Had to ask for towels each day. No service for the room. Everything seemed dingy. Staff were minimal. Didn't feel like they cared whether we were there or not.
