The retreat is located a couple of miles inland from Puerto Morelos in the jungle. The accommodation is a modern glass house with full kitchen and a spacious bedroom with a king size bed. There is an upstairs terrace great for star gazing. The property is spacious with trails leading to a natural shallow pool and then to a large cenote with a waterfall. There are several natural healing elements and ceremonies that can be arranged. There is a huge yurt set up for yoga and a ritualistic sound ceremony. They have onsite massage available. The grounds are beautiful. It’s an ideal setting for a couples getaway. They have onsite food and beverage for purchase. Truly one of the best properties I’ve been to in all my travels.

Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! In our unit, there were fresh fruits waiting for us on the table. Our room was surrounded by glass looking out into the jungle, and every room had access to opening the glass doors right outside. At night, it felt like we slepted under the stars, and in complete nature. The place was perfect for us both, as we come from busy cities, and it slowed us right down. We also got a tour of the property, and every place was more eye opening than the last. The cenote was so beautiful, and full of life, and calming energy. My husband and I both did the Temescal and the Sacred bath, and ceremonies were the most spiritual, grounding and emotional releasing experiences. The Ceranduras explained every step, and maintained the authentic Mayan customs. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and the private chef was so friendly and personable. He showed us what he had prepared in the morning, and our dishes were delicious, healthy and fulfilling. We recommended the perfect meal in preparation for our treatments. We are so grateful and thankful of our experience at SOTA, and will definitely be back soon.

This place is a dream for anyone looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of Playa or Cancun. It is an ideal distance from both cities and nestled just outside of Puerto Morelos, which is a hidden gem for people that love good food and a chill vibe. I strongly recommend Sota Human Space. The accommodations are the best I've ever stayed at.

Our stay here was nothing short of life-changing. We came as a grieving family after losing my father, simply hoping for peace and some healing. What we experienced went far beyond that. Through the care, presence, and thoughtfully guided ceremonies by Irina and Mark, we found not only healing but clarity, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. The space itself is magical—waking up to the sounds of the jungle, watching the sunrise from bed, walking to a hidden cenote that feels like it belongs only to you, and falling asleep under a sky full of stars. Every moment felt intentional and unforgettable, we also can't forget the food Derek prepared for us felt like we were eating at a five star restaurant. Irina and Mark are truly special people. The energy, wisdom, and love they bring to this place can be felt in everything they do. If you are looking for more than just a vacation—if you need a reset, healing, or a deeper connection to yourself—this is the place. We will never forget this experience.

The owners, Mark and Irina are fantastic host. Chef Derek is great. The place is truly serene and amazingly beautiful. The Glass house is very nice. Highly recommended ! My suggestion: Is to have a small microwave and coffee maker. Also, a dolly to transport the luggage’s to the suites.

Sota was very pretty has their own cenote. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and very nice. Derrick the chef was excellent.

The glass houses are beautifully crafted, thoughtfully designed, and blend seamlessly into nature. Waking up surrounded by jungle and light felt surreal. The “pool” experience being cenotes was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced, you truly become one with nature. The privacy here is unmatched; despite other guests being on the property, we rarely saw or heard anyone. It felt incredibly peaceful and personal. The chef prepared some of the best food we had on our entire trip, and the coffee made fresh in the morning was honestly the best cup I’ve ever had. The kitchenette was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and more. The additional services are absolutely worth it, the massage and ceremonial bath were deeply relaxing and meaningful. Every detail felt intentional, thoughtful, and designed for true restoration. The hot tubs are not heated but not needed in such a warm climate. If you are looking for a private, immersive, luxury-meets-nature experience, this place is unforgettable. We would return in a heartbeat.

Pasamos una experiencia increíble, Sota es un espacio en el que puedes conectar con la naturaleza, desde pavos reales, gallinas hasta un pequeño cenote privado en forma de corazón que fue lo que más nos gustó. Las habitaciones están preciosas, duermes y puedes ver las estrellas. Fue el aniversario de cumpleaños de mi novio así que tomamos una cena privada al lado del cenote, fue maravilloso música, velas, el sonido de la pequeña cascada que hay en el cenote. La verdad lo recomiendo 100 de 100
