Dobre Considering that this hotel is relatively new, and part of the Shangri-La empire, it was a let down. It’s been built on the cheap and that shows. Functionally everything is there, but things such as cheap floor tiles let the place down. Highlight for me was the breakfast which is first class. Many staff seem more interested in their mobiles than their guests and that’s a real pity. It’s an airport hotel, so I guess repeat custom is not something they are particularly bothered about. The Hilton at the airport is a far better bet, and if you wish to splurge the Shangri-La itself. I would never stay there again.

Great location, vey close to hongqiao railway station and hongqiao terminal 2. Very polite and warm staff. Will book it again next time.

The room was in good condition, although a bit small if you’re staying as a party of two. The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help, which really added to the overall experience. The gym was well-equipped and definitely a plus.
Breakfast wasn’t really to my taste, but my brother thought it was fine, so it might just depend on your preferences.
One thing to note is that the hotel’s common areas look very luxurious, but the rooms themselves don’t fully match that same level of luxury. Still, overall it was a pleasant stay thanks to the service and facilities.
