Breakfast was awesome!

We had a lovely stay at The Lodge Porto. The hotel is beautiful, with a warm, modern design and lots of wood throughout. Our room was spotless, with wooden flooring, a very comfortable bed and pillows, excellent air conditioning, a useful mini fridge for keeping drinks cold, and a safe for valuables. The staff were a young, friendly team and always polite. They also spoke several languages, which made communication easy. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of hot and continental items. The pastry and sweet selection was particularly good. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar, where the food and drinks were very nice. The only areas for improvement were housekeeping, which was a little inconsistent with replenishing room supplies, and the lost property process. A friend accidentally left a charger and console cable in their room, but unfortunately they were never recovered after we reported them. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend the hotel.

Great experience. Was able to watch the world cup as Portugal played and won, 5-0. Awesome food and drinks during the game as well, including some specials. 🙂 Thank you.

Nice property. Very clean and new, the breakfast was great. Unfortunately, we found the staff not very friendly the hotel was a bit sterile feeling (no music and cold). A good place to sleep but not to hang out. Far from the city center, about a 10 minute uber each time there and back so just know this is not walkable to some of the main attractions. We found ourselves trying to find extra things to do so we wouldn’t have to Uber back and hang out/take a break at the hotel because it was so far and lack of overall hospitality. But, safe, clean, and okay to stay if you are okay with a bit of a commute.

Hotel is very clean and staff very helpful

This is most suitable for coach parties since it is far from city centre and very limited local restaurants/bars especially in the evening. Breakfast choice is good but getting a coffee can take absolutely ages as machines frequently break down. It is good value for money but one must weigh cons and pros. Double glazing in room does not keep out noise from the street. Staff were corporate and one gave inaccurate facts such as transport options during strikes. On balance we would not choose to return.

Superbe hôtel, nous avons adoré notre séjour.

The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was tasty and have good variety of food. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there was an issue with the shower cold water pressure so it gets hot then comes back to the temperature you adjusted it for. Also the hotel location is around 15 minutes walk to the metro station.

We need pre-detail information about welcome drinks otherwise we have to pay extra at the bartender.

Xx hotel was great , excellent breakfast, the only thing I didn’t like was that I thought they had free parking and I was charged 15 euros a night to park, not expecting that
