A short 10-minute walk from the Venice Santa Lucia train station, this absolute gem of a hotel is tucked away in quiet back street in the Santa Croce district. The staff here is friendly and welcoming and most eager to accommodate your needs. The room was cool and comfortable, with a "mini-bar" well stocked with natural bottled water, soft drinks and snacks, all free of charge. In addition, you get a complimentary glass of Proseco wine from the bar upon check in. The rooms include a dazzling breakfast buffet which includes coffee, eggs made to order, dried fruits, nuts, cold cuts, cheeses, salad bar, cereal, yogurt, pastries, and breads. All in all, the Santa Coce Boutique Hotel was a real find and well worth the cost.The neighborhood was mostly quiet at night, which fostered many nights of deep, restful sleep. P.S.--our air conditioning system worked perfectly, and there was no problem with mosquitoes!

This boutique hotel was amazing! After 11 days at sea, this was our one and only night in Venice. The staff was outstanding in every detail. I knew we couldn't conquer Venice in a day. The staff listened to my interests and gave me several suggestions that we managed to enjoy. The room was quiet luxury and perfect for my deserved nap as my body still swayed to the motion of the sea. Their recommendations to our one night for dinner was 5 star. Breakfast fit for royalty. Quiet location easy access to train station.
