We stayed 1 night for a concert at Etihad stadium. The hotel was about 10 minutes walk from Picadilly train station, and is located next to Aldi and an M&S outlet. The room was very spacious, with a kitchenette, which was handy for preparing a quick meal. The hotel is about 25 minute walk to Etihad. Staff were lovely, and breakfast was included - basic but enough to start the day.

Breakfast time was overwhelming actually. On entering the breakfast room there were crowds of people and we could hardly figure out which way to queue etc. would have been better to have a staff member to assist in this.. We figured out later on the direction the queue should have gone ( coffee on the left toast on the right then heated plates leading to hot food) but it didn’t, the crowd was heading in the opposite direction. Also the coffee/toast it was too narrow. Food was ok, table clearing and cleaning also very good. The room was nice, check in and check out was ok.

Overall this was a lovely hotel, beautifully appointed and the staff upfront were very kind and gracious. The breakfast in the morning is gorgeous. My one comment would be for them to remove the green floor rugs in the rooms, I'm sure at first they were a great decor choice but now they're getting dingy and worn looking, harboring dirt or allergens, and compromising the otherwise upscale look of the room and property. Chuck em and stick with hard flooring. Otherwise very lovely hotel. 10 mins from train station.
