Tolle Erfahrung! Ich wollte schon immer mal eine traditionelle Teezeremonie miterleben und die Erfahrung hat nicht enttäuscht. Leider war es etwas teuer wie ich fand, doch das Erlebnis war tatsächlich klasse. Ich habe viel über die Geschichte und Bedeutung von Teezeremonien gelernt und durfte mich auch selbst am Tee machen versuchen. Der Kurs wurde ziemlich klein gehalten mit gerade einmal 4 Personen, was ich super fand. Wir durften unsere Tasse und Nerikiri Wagashi (traditionelle japanische Süßigkeit) zum Matcha Tee selbst aussuchen, die Auswahl hängt vom Monat und der Jahreszeit ab. Filmen und Fotos zu machen war durchgängig erlaubt und es gab keine Einschränkungen, jedoch sollte man nicht vergessen das Erlebnis zu genießen. Am Ende gab es noch die Option den Matcha Tee oder die Bambus Bürste zu einem guten Preis zu kaufen. Ich kann den Kurs auf jeden Fall allen Tee Enthusiasten empfehlen, denn mir war es das Wert.

I was lucky enough to be the only one at the Tea ceremony today! Reina allowed me to take as many videos and pictures as I wanted and she also helped me take pictures of when I was doing the tea ceremony. The experience was very rewarding and educational- Reina went through the history of the Tea ceremony and explained that it was actually established in Osaka and not Kyoto. She also demonstrated the intricacies of the tea ceremony very elegantly! I would highly recommend you immerse yourself in some culture and enjoy the whole process from making to enjoying your own tea!

Sehr schöne kleine Tee Zeremonie, die Dame war sehr lieb und freundlich. hat alles super erklärt und gezeigt und uns dann beim selber machen geholfen.

A lovely experience bringing to life the history & meaning of the tea ceremony. The host spoke excellent English & had a very engaging manner. Very happy to recommend this experience 🙂

this was so nice. everyone was so sweet to my family and i. the tea and sweets were so delicious. i learned a lot about matcha’s history. the whole thing was very cool. my only complaint is that it wasn’t very easy to find and we only found it bc there was a line of others waiting. it could maybe be made clearer but it really didn’t have a negative impact on our experience.

location of the building was difficult to find. its opposite the street sign to Dontoubi Street. the experience was phenomenal. small group. intimate. Teacher was exceptional in English. very knowledgeable. enjoyed making my own tea and eating snack. you sit down on a mat for the entire time and climb 4 stairs to get to the room. its worth it.

it was a great experience! the host was very well versed in the topic and was giving great explanations :) would reccomend!

The tea ceremony was superb. The host gave us a history of how the tea ceremony came to be and even showed us how to properly prepare the matcha.
