This is super easy to get, after you exit immigration and enter the main lobby area turn right and directly across from the floral shop is where you pick this up. It works really well and is super easy to use. It is small like a cellphone and comes in a pouch.

I was able to use the device everywhere along the Sydney Harbour up to Taronga Zoo. easy to find the counter and there was no queue. the whole process was quick. only went to sydney and was able to use the pocket wifi in sydney. battery life was only 8hrs so you need a power bank.

Since a portion of Sydney airport was undergoing renovation, they had the pocket wifi sent to my hotel prior my arrival. they also gave me (which I had to remind but pretty fine) a tempo e-sim for me to use from airport til I get to the hotel. I appreciate that they informed me ahead of this.
