Absolutely loved this tour! It ended up being my favourite day in Japan. Chelsea explained the itinerary at the start with a map; getting the train was easy + the travel fares were covered with a card provided. Katsuoji Temple was gorgeous, and Chelsea made the whole experience so much fun. She’s incredibly passionate about the mythology and lore behind it all, + she was happy to answer my questions. They also kept an eye out for great photo spots, so I came away with SO many pretty photos. The whole day was casual and informative at the same time! The hike through Minoh was another highlight. The walk itself was rly fun along with seeing the waterfall. Chelsea even looked for bugs to show me along the way, since I said I love them, which was super thoughtful! A huge thank you to Chelsea for being so passionate and fun to talk to, and to Garrett for making sure everything ran smoothly and adding in his knowledge. I highly recommend this tour and would def do it again!

absolutely amazing tour. we learned so much and had an easy time heading towards the temple and falls. taught us a lot of historical and religious things we would’ve never learned about on our own. very worth the money and a great way to start our personal trip to Japan. showed us all the cool photo spots, stamps for temples and train stations. it was very magical. even showed us personal food recommendations!

this was an incredible experience and Adam did an amazing job. That day it was just the two of us and he made sure I had me needs met and the photos I wanted haha. It’s definitely easier with only one person I’m sure but he was very communicative and accommodating. He made me feel heard, considered, and supported. The itinerary was as advertised and easy to follow along with what was happening. Absolutely stunning views even in the winter with an extensive knowledge of the history that I loved to learn. The daruma dolls, temple and waterfall were all very enjoyable, even in the winter. The hike was beautiful. Excellent adventure, highly recommend !

We had the most amazing time! Warren was such an amazing guide. Katsuoji and Minoh falls was so beautiful. We had a little hiccup while waiting for a taxi to get to Minoh falls from the temple (waiting time was long and it expectedly rained) but Warren kept our spirits up and we also had good company with our tourmates. Everything was well paced and we did not feel rushed. Expect a lot of steps so wear comfy shoes! 10/10 would recommend!

This tour beautifully showcases the contrasting sides of Osaka — from the lively cityscape to the peaceful embrace of nature. It’s a refreshing break from the concrete jungle, offering a glimpse of the city’s serene and scenic side. Our guide, Tiger, was fantastic, knowledgeable, engaging, and fluent in English. His insights and stories added great depth to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see a different side of Osaka!

A little more expensive than other tours that are going to the same places. However, the pace was just nice, given us time enough time for toilet breaks and shopping at the gift store. The guide (Warren) has given detailed explanations to the history of the temple and the water fall. Overall, great experience!

Skvele sme sa zabavili pri objavovaní chrámu Katsuoji a parku Minoh. Vďaka patrí Adamovi, ktorý bol k nám (vo veku od 7 do 70+) ohľaduplný, láskavý a trpezlivý. Moji svokrovci si užívali jeho spoločnosť a môj syn sa s ním rád rozprával. Adam, ešte raz ďakujeme za vaše služby!

Our tour guide Adam did an awesome job with our day. His time management and pacing was great, he knew a lot of information regarding the sites and was able to answer most questions. We met in the morning at Osaka station, took the rail to Minoh, where we grabbed lunch from the local market to pack with us, then took the bus up to Katsuoji temple. We had a great time at the temple, and the tour allowed us plenty of time to explore on our own as well. After this we headed down to Minoh falls via taxi, walked down 10-15 mins to the falls, spent some time there, and then proceeded to hike out of the park. The trail is around a 4/10 difficulty for the average person, with some bumpy paths and uneven trail/stairs in few spots, and took around 30-40 mins to hike out and a relatively slow pace with the group. You end the day catching the rail back from station at Minoh falls to Osaka Station. 10/10 tour for us at a great price!

Warren was a fantastic tour guide who explained all we needed to know about the areas we visited. we enjoyed enough time in each location so we didn’t feel rushed

Adam was a great guide, who shared the stories of the temple with us and how the darumas are. You can also participate in the stamp rally. do buy your food at the first stop and bring it along.
