Don't let the low number of reviewers deter you from engaging their service. They had to start over after the pandemic, and I am glad I took a chance with them. We recently had the pleasure of participating in the Balinese Costume Experience and Photoshoot in Bali with my family of four, and it was an unforgettable experience. Tia and her family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The entire process was seamless and enjoyable. We were provided with beautiful traditional Balinese costumes, and Tia's family assisted us with dressing up, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The photoshoot itself was a lot of fun, and the family was patient and creative in capturing stunning shots of our group. The sample pictures we saw were great and exceeded our expectations. We can't wait for the rest of the photos to arrive. One of the highlights was the hospitality and warmth of Tia and her family. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the experience. I wish their family well and highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Bali. It’s a unique way to immerse yourself in the local culture, and the photos are wonderful keepsakes. Thank you, Tia and family, for having us and creating such wonderful memories!

一開始很懷疑自己有沒有走錯地方，到了之後才知道原來這裡是他們的家裡，也順便走訪了當地的住家文化，攝影的是大兒子，拍攝技術超好，每張照片都很喜歡👍但最喜歡的還是跟他們的互動，他們很熱情的介紹家人給我們認識，中間等車接送的時候也一直陪我們聊天，如果再來Bali一定會再來看他們的❤️

Warm, Safe, and Family-Friendly As a single mum from Singapore traveling with my helper and two young kids, I deeply appreciate the incredible warmth, care, and hospitality we received from The Balinese Experience Costume and Photography. From start to finish, they made us feel safe, comfortable, and truly welcome. Ibu Sur is so passionate about her work—her love for Balinese culture and art shines through every detail. Her daughter added such joyful energy to the experience, making the whole session even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was how attentive the team was to my children. The guide and makeup artist went out of their way to make my kids feel special and at ease, ensuring they were comfortable and engaged throughout. It was clear they genuinely cared, and that made all the difference. The makeup was beautifully done, the costumes were stunning, and the professionalism of the entire team—including the friendly driver—made this a truly memorable experience.

We are so glad to book this photo session with Tia's family. It's a true Balinese experience to see a family home, temples, markets, Denparsa historical locations. The host family was so warm and welcoming from the very start. We felt so special being taken care of every detail along the way. Despite the rainy weather, we had plenty of photo opportunities. The sample pictures we saw were so lovely. Can't wait for our package deliver via email in a few days.

まだレビューが少なく、日本人の書き込みはないので参考までに。まず、レンタルのクバヤの色やデザインはごく安っぽいもので、市場に行けば2000円〜3000円程度で買えるもの。色やデザインなどの選択肢はあまりない。私は1セットのみ提示され、あまり他に選べそうになかったので大人しくそれを着た。 ヘアセットの技術は日本基準で考えると素人だった。 ヘアアイロンもホットカーラーも使わず、逆毛を立ててスプレーで固めてまとめた髪をネットに入れて固定していた。 これでは後ろ姿は撮影できないだろうと思ったが、その通りで、前からのカットしか撮影しなかった。 並んでいるメイク道具が日本人にとっては不衛生に感じたので、フェイスメイクは断って自分でやった。 フォトシュートは一般の民家にお邪魔して撮影するという形式で、スタッフもみんな家族。良く言えばアットホームでフレンドリーだが、コミュニケーションが過剰でとても疲れてしまった。ずっと話しかけられるし、パーソナルな質問もたくさんされた。このあたりは文化や性格によると思うが、性格が暗めの日本人の私には合わなかった。バリの一般家庭を訪問し、デンパサールのローカルな観光を楽しみながら撮影をするというコンセプトはとてもいいが、良く考えてから予約したほうがいい。値段はそれなりに高いし、精神的疲労とクオリティの微妙さを勘案すると、私に取ってはコスパの悪い体験だった。
