Had a very good experience with Mr. Tong. Only we three were there for this trip and it was the best. Lucklily, we had a cloudy and drizzly weather during entire trip. Mr. Tong’s detailed description of every place made us understand the palces better. He was energetic and that gave us the best vibe throughout the trip. Though we were skeptical about trying out Khmer cuisine, Mr.Tong helped us choose the best things on menu. He also clicked best pictures for us. Me and my family enjoyed the day a lot.

It was lovely going to Kulen Waterfall with Mr Rem, as he was very detailed with his information. We saw many attractions before getting to the waterfall. Rem was so wonderful and very extroverted, I’d definitely recommend this tour.At each stop, he was attentive and ensured that we was well taken care of.Do not expect a decent changing room there and the locals collect a fee of USD 0.50 for changing room and USD 1 for locker. Reclining Buddha was interesting and Rem brought us around the temple. The guide actually played a huge part for this tour as the places we visited for this tour were not exceptional hence the stories and narrative shared by the guide made them more meaningful.

Guide Mr Tong and Mr Bo the driver were an amazing hosts. Mr Tong gave us so much information on the trip and tailored timings, stops and lunch to suit. I would highly recommend!

전체적으로 좋았으나, 입장료가 너무 비싼 것 같고, 식당은 한국 사람이 이용하기에는 불편(에어콘시설이 없고, 식당은 지저분하고, 음식값에 비하면 질이 낮음) 한 같아서, 일정 후 한국식당에서 식사를 할 수 있도록 배려 해주면 좋겠습니다.

Had a terrible experience with tour provider MyProGuide. Booking a tour is meant to make the experience fuss-free but we ended up with a massive headache instead. We had initially booked a join-in tour but less than 24 hours before the tour, the provider told us last minute that there was not enough people for the tour and we had to top up for a private tour. He initially quoted 40USD and when we said no, he haggled it down to 30USD, which we felt was suspicious because it felt like he wanted to pocket the money for himself. As it was too last minute for us to change our itinerary, we decided to just suck it up and pay the 30USD anyway. The tour provider said that he will wait till 5pm to confirm the private tour with us because he wanted to see if he could find anyone to join our tour. At 5pm he confirmed it and the tour guide dropped us a separate message to share more details. That was when we learned that we needed an Ankor Pass to enter one of the places in the itinerary. Unlike other tours we took in Siem Reap, this WAS NOT mentioned in the description and as such, we had only booked a 1 day pass instead of a 3 day pass. Booking another 1 day pass just for this temple would not only be more expensive, but also a waste of time as we would have to go back to the ticket office. When we asked the operator, he told us we could just skip the temple. But the temple was one of the reasons why we booked this tour! We also said that if we were to skip one attraction on the list, it would only be fair if the operator gave us a partial refund because it’ll mean the tour would be cut short. But the operator was adamant against it. We were also frustrated because we already had to fork out an extra 30USD for something that wasn’t in our control. So after some back and forth, the operator asked us to just refund the tour. But as it’s after Klook’s 24 hour cancellation period, we were worried the refund will not be processed. The tour guide was more helpful than the operator and tried to help us find alternative things to do but this would not fit into our schedule as we would end up ending the tour 2 hours later and we had another booking later on. The operator also did not seem to be relaying info with our guide because our guide ended up having to communicate with us instead. We also tried to call the operator but he could not communicate to us in English. In the end, we decided to just stick to the tour because we had no time to change the itinerary. We agreed to skip one attraction without getting a partial refund, we also topped up 30USD. The whole thing turned out to be VERY expensive and over our budget. However, I have to commend our tour guide, Tong. He was very good and very informative. He was very helpful through the tour and was nothing but kind to us. It’s a waste that he is employed by such an agency.
