Emine Sultan Hotel

As always my favorite hotel in Istanbul. Clean comfortable rooms, amazing location, delicious breakfast, beautiful views and terrace to relax on. Helpful staff and historic vibes. Feels like home away from home. Perfect for any traveler. I especially love the beds and great water pressure for showers.

The staff is very friendly. The plug points and electrical equipment were outdated or broken. The A/C was also not working properly

I lost my wallet at the IST airport and the staff help me get it back. Without their help it would have been impossible. I really appreciated their willingness to help me. I found the location very interesting. It was near to the Blue Mosque and lots of restaurants and pastry shops.

This hotel is in the perfect location and has become my base camp and home for my many trips through Istanbul. I highly recommend a stay here: comfortable, convenient and always enjoyable. The breakfast and views from the terrace are amazing.

The Emine Sultan Hotel has a lovely sort of old-world charm and is in a fantastic location, easily walkable to the heart of Sultanamet. However, the property has seen better days. Some things did not work in our hotel room (hair dryer, over-the-mirror light), some things were in disrepair (door handle falling off, no seal on the shower door, toilet seat falling off), and some things could have been cleaner. That said, in a neighbourhood where everything is super expensive, we were grateful for a budget option. Biggest issue is the walls are very thin in the hotel and you can hear everything, from your neighbours talking at normal volumes, to the turn of the key in a lock, and the scraping of dishes from the breakfast room upstairs, as well as everything from the street. So, not a great option for light sleepers.

Conveniently located near The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Breakfast service was short. But had decent options. No laundry available but a few options in walking distance. Cleaning services consisted of only getting clean towels daily even if not requested. But all in all they were friendly and it was comfortable.
