Ambassador Parkhotel

Really nice hotel and atafd were excellent. Would also recommend the breakfast as was really good! Is a bit out of center but there is a direct train to the central station which is only 5 mins away and 10 mins when you are on the train.

Way overpriced (>$300/night) for what it offered. No air conditioning. The TV had VERY FEW working channels, and none interesting. Residential area, with not much to do around.

The hotel is well situated, just minutes away from the train staition to go downtown. Surprisingly, parking in the street was amazingly easy for Munich. But the hotel itself needs a lot of love. It was reasonably clean, but the room and particularly the bathroom are very small and shabby. The matress was horrible, you were pretty much sleeping on a slope, because the springs were finished on the side of the bed. I would not recommend this hotel.

What I liked: The sheets and towels were clean and fresh What I did not like: 1. The majority if staff members are heavy smokers. They congregate in the entrace, smoking, especially on a rainy day. It is impossible to escape the lingering smell of smoking. 2. I was not clear who was in charge, if anyone. The reception was not occupied most of the time. 3. The room was not made up by the end if the day. 4. The pillows are lumpy

Friendly service, good location

My room was fine however I had to keep the window and door open almost the whole time to air out the cigarette smell. If you are next to the Main Street you will hear ambulances and car noises with the door and window closed. Hallways smell like cigarettes BAD. The fridge was not cold at all. Bathroom was incredibly small. Towels had a musty smell to them. Strange people work here and will follow you outside to smoke and watch where you’re going especially the older guy with a beard. Walls are super super super thin. Also there is a lip/gap between the floor in the hallway and the floor in the room. I tried to step out to talk to one of the maids and stubbed my pinky toe so hard, I broke it and completely fell to the ground. I will never ever ever stay here again. Almost the whole time no one is at the desk. I left my key on the desk and walked out.

Room was dirty, uncleaned, mold in the shower, and had a very bad smell the whole time. Felt gross just sitting in the room.

The hotel was nice and clean but had a funny smell. We did enjoy our stay and the breakfast was very tasty

Staff was nice and very helpful. Room was clean and quiet.

Very tired hotel. Outrageous how much they charged for a room which was well below a budget standard.
