Positives: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is very spacious. Negatives: The location and brothel opposite. The worst part of my experience is there is a brothel right opposite the hotel. It is a trans brothel running all evening to early morning. You can clearly see the regular show of prostitutes and men walking in and out. The brothel workers pick up men from Istikal avenue then walk down opposite the hotel to do their business. There is a constant flow of activity up and down the street. There are also several young men hanging around outside on watch, a co-ordinated business is running with a pimp at the entrance hanging around to lure clients in. This is not what I expect to see daily when I go on holiday. It made my whole stay feel horrible and it was quite horrible to witness. I will not be staying at this Hotel again for this reason as I prefer my hotel to be in a nice environment. Also, this hotel is on a dirty side street to the main Istikal avenue, it smells and is piled with bins daily and bin collectors come down the narrow road daily. There is a sex shop right outside (if you are family with small kids not ideal) and a night club on the same street.

Lights in the room was very dark. Good location in taksim, however be aware that you get the room you booked so that they dont fool you.
