The price had gone up and therefore it's less good value and narrows its advantage between itself and other similar hotels.

Clean room, friendly staff upon checking in and out. Basic set up but value for money, great air con system and did the job for an overnight stay. Very close to the train station and local shops/ bars/ and restaurants.

Very conveniently located right by the main train station. Handy for short trips into London and back to Gatwick for an early flight. Clean, functional, well-designed basic room with everything I needed, my only complaints were that there wasn’t a plug anywhere near a mirror (to look in it to dry my hair), and only a very bright ceiling light, no reading/bedside lights, so it was all or nothing. I also left a pair of reading glasses and a book in the room that housekeeping claimed not to find, but they were placed right there in the elasticated pouch by the bed.

Needs hair drier and a surface to put phone on charge

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. No drinking water in the room a little disappointing but there was a water fountain in reception. Air con was well needed during the heatwave and appreciated.

Very basic but clean.

First they gave a room that has been used already, the main issue for me is the size the of the rooms and the bed was terrible. Will never go to easyhotel again, period

Perfect location, for anyone who needs to be around and short distance to London centre. East Croydon Railway Station, London Transport stops nearby. The hotel building urgently needs its windows to be renovated. Even though it is unique piece of modern art, it still has the original windows, they now really need replacing or proper repair. They are drafty, the cold comes straight into the room, and the noise is extremely loud all day and all night. The temporary “windows”, which are more like a kind of sliding curtain, do not help at all. It would also be useful to have a small table or at least a luggage stand in the room.

Lovely one night stay. Clean room. Polite staff. Basic & perfect
